‘Nha trinh tuong’ (earthen houses) hidden behind cherry blossoms together with the warm welcome of the Red Dao community have touched visitors’ hearts and kept them stay longer everytime they travel to Nam Dam village. Nam Dam is a small village of 51 Red Dao households lied peacefully in a romantic valley along the foothills of Twin mountain – the destination that has become an interesting stop for visitors visiting Quan Ba commune, Dong Van Stone Plateau, Ha Giang.
In Nam Dam, tourists can live with their host families in “nha Trinh tuong” (traditional houses with walls made from tightly compressed clay) which is cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
