The Global One Village One Product Networking Forum and and International OVOP Exhibition, chaired by Vietnam’s Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue, have resulted in great success. 

With the presence of products and delegates of One Village One Product movement (OVOP, OTOP, OCOP, ODOP...) from different countries around the world such as Japan, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, India, Senegal, Kenya, Madagascar, Botswana, Afghanistan, Colombia, Australia ..., the forum has brought insightful information with practical value about the implementation of OVOP model and success stories, economic and social benefits from the OVOP movement in the world. This event was also an opportunity for the OVOP program in the world to connect with each other for cooperation in the future, and for Vietnam to look back on the journey of implementation, development and results of OCOP program and its models for rural economic development in Vietnam, thereby gaining experiences and exchanging with international OVOP delegates to make essential adjustments towards higher efficiency.

Each OVOP booth from representative countries and Vietnam OCOP program has received special attention from domestic and international customers. This is a wonderful opportunity to show the achievements of OCOP Vietnam and international OVOP in capturing market demand, from quality to packaging, reaching international standards. .... OVOP products from different countries are displayed vividly, not only contribute to promote products but also introduce unique culture of each country to a wide range of visitors from all over the world. The feedbacks for participating in the exhibition was very positive from the international OVOP delegations, all booths had international importing buyers visited right from the first day, there are booths like Madagascar’s, received orders from customers to buy 2 containers of product at the fair.

Not only attending the forum and fair events, the international delegates also had the chance to visit Vietnam's OCOP models, from the production of rice paper and orchid flower garden models in Cu Chi, to coconut value chain factory tours (coconut candy, fertilizer from coconut mulch, rope, coconut cosmetics, etc.) at Ben Tre, the tours was organized by Ministry of Agriculture and Vietcraft. International delegates had a memorable experience in Vietnam with impressions from OCOP production models and also approaching to interesting knowledge about a part of Vietnamese history through a visit to the historic Cu Chi Tunnels.

Impressed by this event, international delegations all expressed their wish to attend the forum and trade fair in the coming years. Representative from Australia, Dr. Kevin Murray shared that the OVOP movement not only contributes to economic development but also preserves and promotes culture of each country. He has been inspired by Vietnam OCOP model and hoped to bring this model to Oceania with the intention of developing the One Island One Product movement, applying Vietnam's model to create similar success.
